Burnley take shock lead but Premier League favourites Chelsea fight back

BURNLEY ANNOUNCED THEIR arrival back into the Premier League with a bang thanks to Scott Arfield’s 14th minute goal.

The Scottish midfielder fired home from the edge of the area to give the home side the lead.

However, the Premier League favourites were level just two minutes later when Diego Costa started to repay some of that transfer fee with his first goal in the league for his new side.

And they took the lead on 21 minutes through Andre Schurrle after a brilliant through ball from Cesc Fabregas:

It was 3-1 10 minutes before half-time when Branislav Ivanovic found himself wide open in the Burnley penalty area to score the simplest of Chelsea’s goals:
