Legia Warsaw mocked Celtic with this tweet after their Champions League exit

The Polish club aren’t letting their Scottish counterparts off lightly.

IT WAS A bad night at the office for Celtic last night as they were dumped out of the Champions League after Maribor’s 1-0 win at Celtic Park.

Celtic failed to avail of the reprieve handed to them when after losing 6-1 on aggregate to Legia Warsaw, they were reinstated due to the fact that their opponents fielded an ineligible player.

The Polish club then stuck the boot in after Celtic’s disappointment with their tweet ‘#footballwon’ – which has now been retweeted over 10,000 times.
