SEAMUS HICKEY AND Declan Hannon will have to be content with a place on the bench for Limerick’s game with Clare on Saturday night.

Manager John Allen previously hinted they could start the tie, after the pair recovered from injury problems and took part in full training in recent days.

Elsewhere, there is one change from the side that recorded a comfortable 8-26 to 1-15 phase 1 win over Antrim, with Paudie O’Brien coming in for Thomas O’Brien.

The Limerick footballers, meanwhile, have made four changes for their match with Longford on Saturday.

Andrew Lane starts at right corner back, with Stephen Lucey at centre back, Jim Donovan in midfield and Eoghan O’Connor at right half forward.
