Snow joke for hurlers in today's Fitzgibbon Cup game in Dublin

Dublin IT survived the freezing weather to win by three points.

IT WASN’T LOVELY weather for hurling in today’s Fitzgibbon Cup clash in Dublin.

The players from DIT and DCU toughed it in the snow at DCU’s Sportsgrounds in their Group D tie.

DIT won the game by 0-10 to 0-7 to seal their passage to the quarter-finals and they certainly earned it given the conditions.
