Ex Down star Mickey Linden scores 0-4 in club game...at 50 years of age

The attacking legend still has his class.

THEY SAY CLASS never deserts a player.

And clearly that’s the case with former Down attacking legend Mickey Linden.

The star forward excelled on the Down team that won All-Ireland senior titles in 1991 and 1994.

And he’s still well able to kick ball it seems at 50 years of age.

Linden came off the bench today for his club Mayobridge in the thirds local championship in Down and showed he still has an eye for a score by registering 0-4 from play.

Current Down star Benny Coulter and club mate of Linden was clearly impressed with the performance of the attacking maestro.
