All the goals from Liverpool's entertaining FA Cup draw with Exeter

It finished 2-2 at St James Park.

THE FA CUP third round weekend got underway with a thoroughly entertaining tie between League Two outfit Exeter City and Liverpool this evening.

A youthful Reds side survived a scare as they earned a replay to deny the hosts a memorable cup upset.

Jurgen Klopp was forced to field a barely recognisable side with injuries depleting his squad and the visitors went behind after just nine minutes as Tom Nicholls put the hosts into an early lead.

But the Reds hit back almost immediately as Jerome Sinclair capitalised on hesitation in the Exeter defence to level proceedings after an eventful opening period.

On the stroke of half-time, Bodgan’s mistake saw the hosts regain the lead.

Brad Smith ensured the sides will do it all again with a second-half equaliser.
