THE FAI’S CONSULTATION report has recommended a smaller League of Ireland Premier Division.
The plan would see three-to-four clubs relegated and one promoted next season.
The report also indicated a need for the league to be re-branded, with more of a focus on PR and marketing.
The proposed plan would also include greater league prize money and increased TV markets.
