Up front Shane Walsh is named at full-forward where he will link up with the Ballygunner pair of Brian O’Sullivan and Paraic Mahony.
Noel Connors, who injured his ankle in action for Waterford IT in the Fitzgibbon Cup last week, loses out in defence.

But the Portumna midfielder did feature for the all-Galway selection that represented Connacht in last week’s M Donnelly Interprovincial senior hurling final against Munster.
Joseph Cooney, Jonathan Glynn, Davy Glennon and Damien Hayes – who all came on as substitutes in last Sunday’s game – return to the starting 15 here. Fergal Moore is the other new inclusion to the starting 15 at left corner-back.
Galway’s opponents Clare have yet to name a team with defender James McInerney an injury concern but Nicky O’Connell is expected to return to contend for a starting place.

There are three games down for decision in the second tier of the Allianz Hurling League on Sunday. Limerick entertain Carlow in the Gaelic Grounds at 12.45pm and have made five changes from the team that narrowly defeated Antrim in the opening round.
Alan Dempsey and Cathal King come into the defence while David Breen, Niall Moran and Sean Tobin all get handed starting places in attack.
Stephen Walsh, Wayne McNamara, James Ryan, Kevin Downes and Shane Dowling are the players to make way. Goalkeeper Aaron Murphy continues to deputise for injured netminder Nicky Quaid.
