Geraghty's comeback in doubt following injury

The star faces an anxious wait on the results of a scan to determine the seriousness of his injury.

MEATH STAR GRAHAM Geraghty faces the prospect of possibly missing six months of action, after suffering a a training injury prior to their Round 1 clash with Louth.

It was initially only thought to be a minor injury, however medics now fear the star has torn his Achilles tendon, with a scan due to take place today.

After a three-year absence from the Meath panel, the 38-year-old returned earlier this year.
