HERE ARE THE good, the bad, and the unlikely football moves being talked about today…

Marca report that should Neymar join PSG in a record-breaking move worth over €200 million, Barcelona are planning to line up Antoine Griezmann as his replacement.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Ligue 1 outfit for the last month and while the Catlans remain adamant they do not want him to leave, they are reportedly keeping tabs on Atletico’s highly-rated striker.

Grizemann is priced at €100 million, with other options to replace Neymar including Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho and Paulo Dybala of Juventus.

Meanwhile Liverpool will not be signing Naby Keita this summer, according to the player’s coach, report the Observer.

RB Leipzig’s Ralph Hasenhüttl has said the player will “100%” remain with the Bundesliga club, despite persistent interest from the Reds.

“It’s 100% clear that Naby will play this year in Leipzig”, he said. “At the beginning of the transfer period we said we would start with the same team and of the players we had last year no one will go. That would be our answer now also.”

Elsewhere Nemanja Matic’s potential £40 million move to Manchester United is hitting a roadblock, according to The Sun.

A dispute relating to Premier League bonuses at Chelsea could slow down the move to Old Trafford, report the tabloid.

Matic has already agreed personal terms with Jose Mourinho’s side, but the transfer is hitting a snag due to add-ons relating to the number of games the Serbian could play for the Red Devils next season.

The Serbian international was recently left out of Chelsea’s pre-season tour of Asia in order to work on his fitness ahead of the new campaign.

However the player was pictured in a Manchester United training top, according to The Daily Mail, amid rumours he completed a medical at Carrington over the weekend.

The Sunday Express claim that United have also put the brakes on a move for Gareth Bale, instead waiting until next summer.

Speculation linking Bale with a move to United has re-surfaced in recent weeks, as Real Madrid continue to be linked with a record-breaking deal to bring Kylian Mbappe to the Bernabéu.

United however, will wait until 2019 to make a £90 million bid for the Welsh winger.

Finally, Ross Barkley could be let go for as little as £30 million.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 23-year-old and Everton could be willing to offload the midfielder for a reduced price.

Manchester City and Tottenham lead a pack of six clubs interested in the player’s signature, report the Daily Star.

Barkley has been told he can leave Goodison Park, with the player proving to be Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino’s top target.

Retro Deal of the Day: Sami Khedira to Real Madrid

On this day in 2010 Sami Khedira joined Real Madrid from Stuttgart.

The midfielder had impressed during the summer’s World Cup with Germany and would go on to make 40 appearances in his first season alone at the Bernabéu.

Khedira would win the Copa Del Rey in his first year, before winning the La Liga title under Jose Mourinho in 2011/12.

He would spend five seasons at the club, winning seven major honours, before joining Juventus in the summer of 2015 where he has since claimed back-to-back Scudettos.
