Harte rings the changes for Tyrone's showdown with Lilywhites

The Red Hand face Kildare in the Allianz Football League Division II final at Croke Park on Sunday.

TYRONE CHIEF Mickey Harte has made five changes to his side ahead of the Allianz Football League Division II final.

The Red Hand face Kildare in the first of an intriguing double header at Croke Park on Sunday (throw-in 2pm).

Conor Gormley comes in at full-back in place of the injured Justin McMahon while Pascal McConnell drops to the bench, with Jonathan Curran starting between the posts in his stead.

Damian McCaul and Aidan Cassidy are in at at wing back and midfield respectively while further up the pitch, Niall McKenna returns at full-forward.

“They’re a team that has been around the top table and are a developing side,” Harte said of Kildare on GAA.ie this week. “Kieran McGeeney has them in good shape both mentally and physically. It’s a great challenge for us ahead of the championship and we have total respect for what they offer.”
