Hockey fan hits referee in groin with beer can from six rows back

But you really shouldn’t be throwing full cans of beer at referees.

That's going to leave a mark.
That's going to leave a mark.

YOU REALLY SHOULDN’T throw missiles at referees, even if you disagree with the decision they’ve just taken.

However, to hit an official in the groin with a full beer can from six rows back shows an impressive aim.

The missile thrower in this case turned out to be Alexandre Perron — according to Le Journal de Montréal – who flung the can out of frustration at a penalty call the official had just made on his brother Francis during a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game.

Le Journal also report that a man was arrested over the incident and, despite his injury, the referee was able to finish the game.
