IRELAND HAVE NAMED an experimental side to take on England for this afternoon’s clash at the Aviva Stadium.
Ipswich duo David McGoldrick and Daryl Murphy have been given a chance to impress in attack, while Keiren Westwood is handed a rare start in goals.
The formation has yet to be confirmed, but O’Neill could go with a 4-3-3 formation, with McGeady, Murphy and McGoldrick in attack.
Meanwhile, England have named a strong side. First XI regulars such as Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling have all been included in the team.
Ireland: Westwood; Brady, Coleman, Wilson, O’Shea; Whelan, Hendrick, McCarthy; McGeady, McGoldrick, Murphy.
England: Hart; Bertrand, Cahill, Smalling, Jones; Sterling, Lallana, Milner, Wilshere, Henderson; Rooney.
