James McClean has deactivated his Twitter account after sending this Brexit-related tweet

The Ireland midfielder’s account has disappeared off social media in the past hour.

IRELAND PLAYER JAMES McClean has deactivated his Twitter account after sending a Brexit-related tweet earlier.

“Reignition of the flames of reunification #BorderPoll #UnitedIreland” the West Brom midfielder tweeted in the past hour, along with a picture of himself and Martin McGuinness.

McClean’s Twitter account has since been deleted.

The Derryman is currently part of the Ireland squad at the Euros in France.
