FORMER DUBLIN FOOTBALLER Jason Sherlock and comedian Tara Flynn helped to launch a new anti-racism initiative in Dublin yesterday. is a new website which encourages people to confidentially provide details of any racist incidents they experience or witness.

The project is the work of ENAR Ireland, a network of over 30 organisations working against racism in Ireland.

Information collected through iReport will be use to understand the frequency and type of racist incidents which occur in Ireland and also to devise strategies on a local and national scale to tackle the problem.

Sherlock, whose late father was from Hong Kong, has spoken in the past about the “humiliating” racist abuse he suffered during his playing career. He retired from football earlier this summer.
