JOSE MOURINHO WAS not happy with Antonio Conte’s exuberant celebrations and branded them “humiliating” after Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Chelsea.
An angry Mourinho pulled Conte aside at full time and the pair had a brief exchange on the sidelines.
Asked afterwards what he had said, the United boss said: “My words with Antonio Conte were for him, not for you.”
But the pitchside cameras were close enough to pick up Mourinho’s Italian, and Sky Italia translated them.
“Don’t do that [celebrate] at 4-0,” Mourinho told his opposite number. “1-0, okay, but not 4-0. It is humiliating.”
