Kearney takes silver in Individual Championships, Ireland win bronze in team event
The 23-year-old today recorded a score of 76.700 per cent.
HELEN KEARNEY HAS claimed yet another medal for Ireland at the Paralympics, winning silver in the Individual Championships in London today.

Riding on her grey Irish Sport Horse Mister Cool, the 23-year-old recorded a score of 76.700 per cent.
Kearney has been competing in the sport for the past eight years, and previously won a bronze at the 2011 European Para Equestrian Championships.
Kearney’s score also helped Ireland win the Dressage Team Bronze Medal, meaning the country now has seven medals in total and currently lies in 12th position on the Paralympics medal table.
Following this achievement, Horse Sport Ireland Chairman Joe Walsh said:
“I’d like to congratulate Helen Kearney for her fantastic achievement at Greenwich Park today, which was well deserved. It’s another great day for Irish equestrian sport.”
He added: “Today has been a remarkable achievement, especially as this was the first year that Ireland had qualified a dressage team for the Paralympics. My congratulations go to everyone involved in this wonderful success.”
Meanwhile, Dubliner Geraldine Savage secured a personal best, with a score of 68.800, ultimately finishing in seventh place with Blues Tip Top Too in the Grade 1a championship.
In addition, Kilkenny-born James Dwyer earlier today came in sixth place in the Grade IV individual dressage championships on 68.516.
