We’re under way…
MAN CITY 1-0 LIVERPOOL (JESUS 2)
It starts when Van Dijk gives the ball away, before Sterling crosses for Jesus to slot home.
Is this the beginning of a famous comeback?
De Bruyne shoots from distance but his attempt goes well over.
Man City look really up for this one.
1 - Man City scored with the first shot of the game versus Liverpool, with Gabriel Jesus scoring after just one minute and 56 seconds. Lightning.

City are not happy.
Mane has gone in late on Otamendi and gets booked.
The defender made the most of that judging by replays.
Lovren is penalised for a rash challenge on Sterling on the edge of the box.
Liverpool have looked very nervy at the back so far.
City have had 63% possession so far.
They have all the momentum as well right now.
De Bruyne finds Sterling, whose cross is parried away by Karius.
Moments later, the Reds stopper also has to tip away a deflected Sane cross.
Liverpool are really under the cosh here.
It’s all too easy for City at the moment.
De Bruyne has been controlling the game in midfield, with Liverpool giving the ball away far too cheaply.
The pace of this game has been incredible so far.
Liverpool could do with a few stoppages, as City are thoroughly dominant at the moment.
Alexander-Arnold gets booked for a cynical challenge on Sane.
The German winger has looked sharp so far.
Moments later, Bernardo Silva gets booked for what looks like dissent, after a penalty claim for handball was ignored.
Sane is destroying Alexander-Arnold. Had a poor game last week, but the City winger is now the biggest threat.

Sterling falls under the challenge of Robertson in the box, but the ref again dismisses claims for a spot kick.
He went down very easily and it certainly would have been a soft penalty.
Firmino is now booked for tripping De Bruyne as City counter-attacked.
There are already five players (three Liverpool and two City) on yellow cards in this game.
City have had eight attempts and two on target.
Liverpool, by contrast, have had zero on both counts.
Fernandinho fires a shot wide from distance.
De Bruyne and Silva continue to control this game.
Bernard Silva sees a shot deflected wide from inside the box.
City continue to dominate and look threatening.
One thing is this pace surely unsustainable for City at a mere 1-0, so need to get a second soon?

Bernardo Silva hits the post from the edge of the box.
Moments later, Sane scores, but it’s offside. Karius made a bit of a mess of his initial punched clearance, allowing the German to slot home after the ball was deflected into his path.
That looked an incorrect decision, as the last touch came off Milner before Sane got the ‘goal’.
Chance for Liverpool!
Salah plays through Oxlade-Chamberlain. He takes it round Ederson, but fails to hit the target from a tight angle.
HALF-TIME: MAN CITY 1-0 LIVERPOOL
I think Pep has been sent in the stand for the second half....after having a “go” at the ref
— Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) April 10, 2018
Confirmation that Guardiola has been sent off for being too abusive towards the officials.
The second half has begun…
De Bruyne tries to pick out Sane but his pass is overhit.
It’s been similar to the first half so far — City are looking like the more purposeful team.
MAN CITY 1-1 LIVERPOOL (SALAH 55)
Incredible! Liverpool have took a big stride towards the semi-final.
Salah scores, clipping the ball home after Mane looked like he had wasted the chance after missing a one-on-one.
City must now score four goals to go through.
8 – Mohamed Salah has now scored more goals in a single Champions League/European Cup campaign for Liverpool (8) than any other player in the club’s history. Star. pic.twitter.com/jnUSc6TO8l

Liverpool are looking very comfortable now.
It really is a stark contrast with the first half.
32 – Liverpool have scored 32 goals in the Champions League this season – the joint-most by an English side in a single campaign alongside Man Utd (32 in 2002-03). Unstoppable. pic.twitter.com/GSzqFxyRQA

City look a little deflated now.
They try to launch an attack, but Sane is penalised rightly for being in an offside position.
David Silva is replaced by Sergio Aguero.
It’s too little too late now surely.
Bernardo Silva’s cross goes straight into Karius’ arms.
City look a beaten team, even if they’re technically not losing on the night.
Laporte’s shot is deflected just over.
20 minutes remain.
City are still dominating possession (61%).
Yet the pace of the game is nowhere near as frantic as it was.
City make another change.
Gundogan replaces Bernardo Silva.
LIVERPOOL 2-1 MAN CITY (FIRMINO 75)
That most certainly is that.
Firmino makes it 2-1 on the night and 5-1 on aggregate. He capitalises on a mistake by Otamendi, who gives the ball away in a dangerous area, enabling the Brazilian to run through on goal and slot the ball home coolly.
Gundogan puts the ball into the net, but this time, it’s correctly ruled offside, as Sane — who provided the cross — failed to beat the offside trap.
Meanwhile, Liverpool make a change, with Firmino being replaced by Klavan.
The Etihad Stadium is emptying now.
It looks like Liverpool are set to claim a third successive victory against City.
We’re into injury time now (two minutes).
Ings has replaced Salah.
