London seal first Championship win for 34 years

Fermanagh lose out by a scoreline of 0-15 to 0-09 in Ruislip.

LONDON TODAY PROVED their impressive showing against Mayo last time out was no fluke.

The Exiles dumped a sorry Fermanagh out of the the championship with a famous 0-15 to 0-9 victory at Ruislip.

It’s London’s first championship win since the 1977 Connacht victory over Leitrim. The defeat is likely to be the last outing for Erne County boss John O’Neill.

The hosts led by 0-9 to 0-1 at half time before Fermanagh eventually pegged it back to four with 10 minutes to play.

But points from Ciarán McCallion, Killian Phair and Cathal O’Sullivan wrapped up the result.
