EVERTON MIDFIELDER MAROUANE Fellaini was lucky to escape a straight red card this afternoon after appearing to headbutt Stoke’s Ryan Shawcross.
The Belgian left his marker on the ground after the incident, which referee Mark Halsey failed to spot, in the second half of their 1-1 draw at the Britannia Stadium.
He could well find himself in trouble when video replays such as the one below are reviewed by the FA, however.
