There were ultras in the stand as Musgrave Park hosted one of Irish rugby's best rivalries

You know it will be eventful when Pres Cork play CBC.

PBC V CBC is one of the greatest rugby rivalries in Ireland, with the two Cork rugby nurseries combining to win 56 of the 105 Munster Schools Senior Cups.

The two clashed in the Junior Cup semi-final today and besides being a cracking game, there was also a brilliant atmosphere.

It wasn’t exactly like a Turkish football match… but the CBC fans did their best to create a similar environment.

Pres Cork held a narrow lead as the game entered injury time before fullback Robert Hedderman touched down after a cross-kick from out-half Eoin Monahan, which gave CBC a 13-12 win.

CBC will meet Crescent College in the final of the tournament after the Limerick school beat city rivals Castletroy. Just like yesterday, there were jubilant scenes on the pitch afterwards.
