WE WEREN’T EXPECTING too much from today’s A-League clash between Newcastle Jets and Adelaide United.
From the ten-team competition, both are currently in the bottom half so it was probably inevitable that the quality wouldn’t be great.
Still, when it came to the mid-way point of the second half, the Jets won a free-kick inside the Adelaide half. A number of players all gathered around the ball while plenty of blue jerseys stationed themselves in the area.
It was clear that the home side had something special up their sleeve.
