DERVAL O’ROURKE has finished outside the medals at the European Indoor Championships in Paris.
O’Rourke ran a season’s best time of 7.96 seconds in the 60m hurdles final but that was only good enough to see her into fourth place.
The race was won by Carolin Nytra of Germany who pipped Britain’s Tiffany Ofili on the line. Both athletes recorded identical times of 7.80 seconds.
Christina Vukicevic of Norway took bronze after finishing third in 7.83 seconds.
