SLIGO HAVEN’T LET new boy Paul O’Conor forget about the FAI Cup final.
After losing out with Drogheda United in last year’s showpiece, O’Conor crossed the divide and Ian Baraclough’s side in the offseason.
The midfielder was chatting to Donagh Corby after Saturday night’s win against Athlone when league legend and all-round good guy Joey N’Do stopped by for a spot of gentle trolling.
“Do you remember the free kick?” N’Do joked, reminding O’Conor about his controversial flash of inspiration in the build up to Danny North’s second goal.
“I love you man,” N’Do chuckled before bouncing off.
Looks like O’Conor is settling in just fine then. And Joey? Still a legend.
