A THREE-MAN shortlist for the PFAI Manager of the Year award has been announced this afternoon.

Having led Dundalk to their third consecutive SSE Airtricity League Premier Division title, Stephen Kenny will be overwhelming favourite to pick up the prize.

And if, as expected, the Dubliner does win, it will be his fourth time in-a-row.

The other nominees are Derry City boss Kenny Shiels, who has brought the Candystripes to third place in his first season in charge, and Harry Kenny of Bray Wanderers.

Kenny took over the Seagulls after Mick Cooke’s departure in June, with the Wicklow club level on eight points with Longford Town at the time.

However, he has transformed Bray’s fortunes since then. They are sixth in the table ahead of the final round of fixtures tomorrow night.
