THE GOING IS soft; but after some trojan work by groundstaff at Cheltenham this week, the Festival certainly is going.

Around 15,000 Irish racing fans are said to be heading for Prestbury Park — though that seems optimistic these days — while many more of us will watch from home or the office.

It’s the biggest week of the year too for bookmakers with one Irish firm estimating that €120 million will be spent at the totes over the coming days.

But will you get in the swing of things this week?

Poll Results:

No, it's a mug's game (581)
Not sure yet (483)
Yes, I'll have a modest flutter (330)
Yes, big time. (68)
