RODDY COLLINS IS no longer the manager of Waterford United.
The outspoken Dubliner has left with immediate effect after 17 months in charge of the SSE Airtricity League First Division club.
Former Bohemians, Carlisle United, Dublin City, Shamrock Rovers, Cork City, Monaghan United, Athlone Town and Derry City boss Collins took over the Blues back in May 2015 and aimed to win promotion to the Premier Division.
However, they currently sit sixth in the table with 24 points from 25 matches played this season.
Waterford United can confirm the departure of Roddy Collins as first team manager with immediate effect,” reads a short statement from the club put out on Twitter.
“The club would like to thank him. Waterford United have no further comment to make on this issue at this time. A new management team will be announced shortly.”
