THERE HAVE BEEN some outstanding team efforts from Irish teams over the past 12 months.

Some sides have punched above their weight to cause shocks, some have created history while others have pushed the boundaries of excellence a few notches further up to create a benchmark for others to follow.

On Saturday night, the RTÉ Sport Awards will name an official Team of the Year, but tell us, which club, county, nation, province, squad or duo do you think deserve the most recognition for their achievements in 2016?
