Liverpool appeal of Mane three-game suspension rejected by FA

The attacker will miss Liverpool’s next three domestic matches.

LIVERPOOL ATTACKER SADIO Mane will have to serve out his three-match red card ban after the Football Association rejected the club’s appeal to have the ban reduced.

The denial of the appeal means Mane will miss the Reds’ next three domestic contests, though he is eligible to feature in the club’s Champions League fixtures.

Mane was shown a red card in Liverpool’s 5-0 defeat to Manchester City last Saturday after a challenge on goalkeeper Ederson in the first half.
