The culprit was self-styled comedian Simon Brodkin, increasingly notorious for his publicity stunts as Lee Nelson, today under the guise of Jason Bent.

Earlier this month, Brodkin managed to sneak on stage during Kanye West’s set at Glastonbury. He has also invaded the pitch to warm up at Goodison Park and attempted to join England’s World Cup squad before being removed by police at Luton airport.
