Sky Sports made a very unfortunate slip in their GAA Footballer of the Year report

Oh no.

THE NOMINEES FOR GAA/GPA Footballer of the Year were announced this morning with All-Ireland champions Dublin guaranteed to take the prize.

Jack McCaffrey, Bernard Brogan and Philly McMahon are all in contention after helping the Boys in Blue to Sam for the third time in five seasons.

Unfortunately, Sky Sports News presenter Mike Wedderburn got a little bit confused when he reported the news this morning.

“The All-England football champions Dublin dominate this year’s player of the year shortlist…” he said.

Emmm, All-England?
