The Ireland keeper was reported by goal.com as undergoing a medical at Fulham this weekend, with the condition of his shoulder in doubt.Reading ‘keeper Adam Federici is also being considered, but Given is Mark Hughes’ top target.
If Given moves to Fulham, Mark Schwarzer’s move to Arsenal (as rumoured, bizarrely, on the club website) should come through. Current Arsenal number one Manuel Almunia may also move away from the Emirates Stadium if Schwarzer arrives, completing the transfer merry-go-round.
