• Good news Ireland fans — the injury Robbie Brady sustained for Norwich at the weekend doesn’t appear to be as serious as first feared.
• Rob Kearney has suffered another setback after picking up a knee injury in Saturday’s Pro12 defeat to Glasgow.

• The Paralympics continue in Brazil tomorrow and a number of Irish athletes will be competing, including Nicole Turner (swimming, 13.38), Aibhe Kelly (swimming, 15.18), Phillip Eaglesham (shooting, 17.00), and John Twomey, Ian Costello and Austin O’Carroll (sailing, 17.30)
• In the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams, in their first game since the franchise’s return to southern California, travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers at 3am tomorrow morning.
