INTERNAZIONALE FULL-BACK Maicon is one defender who likes to show every now and again that he is capable of spectacular goals.

During the World Cup two years ago, he managed to squeeze this strike past North Korea goalkeeper Ri Myong-Guk and he also produced a stunner against Juventus in the same year.

Last night, Inter’s Coppa Italia tie with Genoa was nine minutes old when the Brazilian international came up with a thing of real beauty. The Nerazzuri went on to claim a 2-1 win thanks to Andea Poli’s second.
