The weekly YouTube chart

The score of the International Rules Series, a goalkeeper watches on as he’s lobbed from the halfway line and Steve Nash harasses Landon Donovan.

OKAY POP PICKERS, once again, we’re counting down the best online footage from another busy week in sports. Thank God, for video phones.

10. Manchester City’s players went Old School this week. Ireland goalkeeper Shay ‘Frank the Tank’ Given and three Man City teammates, Gareth Barry, Joe Hart and Adam Johnson, went golfing in the university town of St Andrews on Monday – 24 hours after their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Joe Hart is shown wandering around the absolutely wedged student digs in a vest, notorious party monkey Johnson looks completely goosed in the kitchen and England man Barry gives a game-of-inches style motivational talk for dipsomaniacs. You can view it on The Sun’s website here.

9. The NBA season got underway with the much-hyped arrival of the new-look Miami Heat to Boston as the Celtics won 88-80. During the game’s broadcast, Nike aired this new LeBron James advert – which takes a few swipes at sacred idols like Jordon and Barkely.

8. Bundelisga football expert Rafael Honigstein tweeted about this goal yesterday. Michael Stahl struck from 61m to see third division Koblenz knock Hertha Berlin out of the German Cup on Tuesday. It’s pretty good, I guess.

7. The World Series got underway last night in San Francisco. You gotta love baseball in October. Total Pro Sport runs down on some of the most memorable World Series moments.

6. Speaking of last night’s win for the Giants over the Texas Rangers, San Francisco’s very eccentric closer Brian Wilson featured in last week’s Youtube round-up. But some of his best interviews, are certainly worth re-watching. What/who is the machine?

5. Golf’s longest hitter Jamie Sadlowski puts on a show for applauding OAPs.  Someone teach this dude to putt and let’s get the Masters green jacket fitted. Am I right? I think I’m right. Watch here

4. The Guardian sportsblog’s classic YouTube piece this morning’s mentions this set-to between gaelic football legends Dinny Allen and Páidí Ó Sé. Now, they were men.

3. In a long-running TV ad love story, this one is up there with the Maxwell House saga of the late 80s, in my book.

For the past few weeks NBA star - and all-round good guy - Steve Nash has been appearing in spots for FIFA 11 with LA Galaxy striker Landon Donovan. The latest installment which aired this week is below.

2. Human billboard David Becham appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show this week. She made a complete monkey out of him.

1. Ireland face Australia in the decisive second International Rules Test in Croke Park on Saturday. Seven points down after last week’s opener in Limerick, Bernard Brogan’s wonder-goal is a thing of beauty (two minutes in).
