PARIS ST-GERMAIN have confirmed that midfielder Thiago Motta has had his nose broken after a violent confrontation with Bastia striker Brandao.
The pair clashed in the tunnel as both teams headed for the dressing-rooms at full-time. PSG had won the game 2-0 with goals from Lucas Moura and Edinson Cavani.
Footage has emerged which appears to show Brandao head-butting the Italian.

Later, PSG club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi confirmed that Motta had suffered a fractured nose and also asked for the Brazilian attacker, who only joined Bastia earlier this month, to be banned for life.
