KERRY’S TOMMY WALSH made a winning return to action today with the Sydney Swans after having spent the last 11 months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
Walsh lined out for the Sydney Swans reserves side as they ran out comfortable winners by 75 points against UWS Giants at the ANZ Stadium.
Walsh did not kick a goal during the game but set up a goal for Tim Membrey and Lloyd Perris as the Sydney Swans claimed a 100-25 victory.
The 2009 All-Ireland senior winner emerged unscathed from the game in an important step in his injury comeback after tearing the hamstring off his bone last June in an AFL Round 10 clash between Sydney Swans and Essendon.
