Irish Invasion

We're counting down the days to UFC Dublin after watching the new promo

This will be good. Very good.

FIFTEEN MONTHS SINCE their last visit to Ireland, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be back in Dublin on Saturday, 24 October.

Taking place at the sold-out 3Arena, UFC Fight Night 76 will be headlined by the meeting of US lightweight Dustin Poirier and Donegal’s Joseph Duffy.

Irish quintet Paddy Holohan, Norman Parke, Neil Seery, Cathal Pendred and Aisling Daly will also feature on the bill, as well as the co-main event clash of heavyweight contenders Stipe Miocic and Ben Rothwell.

Conor McGregor won’t be involved this time but there’s still more than enough on the card to make it another one to remember, with the bar having been raised quite high by UFC Fight Night 46 at the same venue in July of last year.

There are less than three weeks to go but the countdown is well underway to the UFC’s return to the Irish capital, with the organisation releasing this excellent new promo for the event…
