ONE TWEET WAS all it took.

The entire top ten of the UFC’s featherweight division was torn apart by Conor McGregor’s brutally straightforward tweet during the week.

So with that in mind let’s have a look at the state of play in the organisation and see what could happen in each of the UFC’s weight divisions in (roughly) 140 characters or less.

Velazquez faces JDS while DC and Browne wait in the wings. Bigfoot and Reem fight for the scraps but won’t get close #thereemisover

Light Heavyweight

JJ remains dominant but The Mauler and Teixeira threaten. Mousasi needs to prove his worth as Hendo and Evans fade #stillthechamp

Weidman champ but not for long. Silva to take back the belt and beat all like before. Belfort to get shot as Jacare emerges as threat #goat

GSP to derail Big Rigg and will refuse to fight his biggest rival Ares. Condit to challenge again but fall short again as Lawlor makes a mark

Hendo-Pettis 2 will be close so expect a third fight as Grant is made to wait for a shot he might not get. Melendez to figure again #showtime

Aldo continues to cruise as the world awaits McGregor’s recovery. He’ll be back sooner than expected. Mendes gets shot  #prayformcgregor

Mayday gets Barao again as Cruz can only look on. Faber wins another and gets traditional title shot before losing.  #cruzcontrol
