Vettel denies rumours that he's joining Ferrari

The German and his Red Bull boss both say that he is happy to stay where he is.

SEBASTIAN VETTEL HAS denied reports that he has signed a deal to drive with Ferrari in the future.

The Red Bull star, who leads the world championship and took victory in India on Sunday, was responding the reports saying that he could join the Italian outfit as soon as 2014.

Vettel said: “There is nothing to tell, nothing I have signed. It is amusing. I don’t know where it came from.”

The German even said he had been concerned the rumours would cause problems for him at Red Bull.

“There is nothing to report and I am very happy at Red Bull Racing,” he said.

Team principal Christian Horner added that Vettel is bound to Red Bull for the next two years at least.

“Sebastian Vettel without a shadow of doubt, will be part of the Red Bull Racing team in 2014.”

Vettel’s win in India was his fourth in a row and saw him stretch his lead in the title race to 13 points over Fernando Alonso.
