VIDEO: McCartan bemoans missed first-half chances

The manager added that Down have “six days to get ou heads right”.

DOWN MANAGER JAMES McCartan was gracious in defeat, after seeing his side lose 2-18 to 0-13 against Donegal in the Ulster SFC final in Clones.

And while he conceded that Donegal fully deserved their victory, he suggested that there might have been a different outcome had his side not been so wasteful with chances in the first half.

He added that the team now had “six days to get our heads right”.
