WAYNE ROONEY IS a fantastic footballer and gets paid A LOT of money, of that there can be no doubt.

And having recently become England’s leading scorer of all time, he certainly has reason to wear whatever he pleases on the pitch – but we’re not too sure about these boots.

The Nike Electro Flare Hypervenom boots will make their debut in the Premier League this weekend with Nike’s contracted players set to use them in the run-in to Christmas.

‘Bright “Volt” overflows the sole-plate of the boot to splatter across the heel and Swoosh to compliment the metallic magic of the “Hyper Grape” upper.’ So whatever that means.

Let us know what you think of them below.
