THE LAST-GASP goal in extra-time may have been the defining score on Wednesday night as Wexford claimed the Bord Gáis Energy Leinster U21 hurling title in dramatic fashion.

Yet it was not the best score of a pulsating game between Wexford and Kilkenny in Wexford Park.

Instead that honour fell to Wexford’s Gary Moore for his sensational point from a sideline cut from distance in the second-half of normal time.
