HUDDERSFIELD BEAT WOLVES 1-0 this evening to boost their hopes of a place in the Premier League next season.

Izzy Brown’s strike on 31 minutes was enough, as the Terriers secured a Championship play-off spot at Molineux.

The three remaining spots have yet to be confirmed, with Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham currently in pole position, while Leeds remain in contention, but are three points off the Cottagers with two games to play.

Meanwhile, former Ireland U21 international Sean Scannell made his first start since recovering from a four-month layoff, with the 26-year-old winger appearing for the 14th time in total this season for the promotion contenders.
