The rain is starting to fall now during the pre-match parade. We’re just minutes away now.

And now it’s time to observe a minute’s silence for Cork GAA great Denis Coughlan, who passed away this week.

The anthem has been sung, and it’s time to get underway!

Throw-In! Cork v Limerick

Full-Time! Cork 2-17 Limerick 1-21

Cork 2-17 Limerick 1-21

And that is that!

Cork went short with free and just ran out of time as Limerick reclaim the Munster title that they lost to Cork last year.

They were chasing the game for so long and managed to find that extra gear to get over the line in what was an incredibly tense game on a wet day in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. That’s a seventh Munster title in eight years for this team.

Cork players were remonstrating at the end there over the timing of the final whistle, but it’s Limerick’s day.

Well, that’s all from us, folks.

Stay tuned for Fintan O’Toole’s match report live from Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

We hope you enjoyed today’s coverage and look forward to having you with us again, soon.

Until next time, good luck!
