LIMERICK HAVE MADE Daniel Kearns their newest signing for next season.

The Blues today announced the addition of the 26-year-old winger, who has spent the past 18 months with Sligo Rovers.

A former Republic of Ireland U21 international, Kearns joined Dundalk in 2010 after spending three years in the youth set-up at West Ham United.

The Belfast native returned to England in 2011 and had spells with Peterborough United, York City, Rotherham United, Chesterfield and Carlisle United. He joined Sligo in the summer of 2016 after spending a season with Glenavon.

Kearns is Limerick’s third new signing for 2018, following the additions of midfielder Cian Coleman from Cobh Ramblers and striker Danny Morrissey from Finn Harps.
