Good evening and welcome along to what is sure to be an exciting evening of action.

There are three crunch games across the hurling and football championships that we will be keeping a close eye.

In the hurling, it’s quarter-final time as Limerick and Dublin enter the final minutes. Galway also face Tipperary at the Gaelic Grounds.

And in the football, it’s Dublin v Cork in Croke Park in the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final. The winners will go into the hat for Monday morning’s quarter-final draw.

Those two games get underway at 6.15pm and we will have team line-ups for you in the next few moments.

Michéal Donoghue has shuffled the deck, making three changes to the Galway team before throw-in. Ronan Glennon replaces TJ Brennan. Conor Cooney in for John Fleming and Colm Molloy starts ahead of Tom Monaghan.

Here’s what will happen for the semi-final fixtures. If Tipperary win, they will play Kilkenny while Cork take on Dublin.

And that’s that!

Awesome Tipperary cruise into the All-Ireland hurling semi-finals. Galway got a late consolation goal from Declan McLaughlin after bombarding the Tipp goals in the final minutes. But there was only one winner in the Gaelic Grounds.

Colm Molloy’s early goal in the second half appeared to give Galway a spark but they couldn’t build on it and Tipperary continued to tag on scores until that Oisín O’Donoghue goal put considerable daylight between the teams

They will now face Kilkenny in what is certain to be a mouthwatering All-Ireland semi-final. Dublin, who stunned Limerick earlier, take on Cork.

It was a lot closer in the football as Dublin and Cork had a real arm wrestle in Croke Park. But it’s Dessie Farrell’s side who come out the better side of a three-point difference. They go into the hat for Monday morning’s All-Ireland quarter-final draw.
