Not a real sport?! Check out WWE wrestler John Cena squatting 180kg

It’s a few kilos more than most of us can manage.

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. We’re fully aware that professional wrestling is “fake”, scripted, not a sport and whatever it is that you’ve clicked in to tell us.

But there’s no denying the incredible athleticism of some of the men at the top of the game.

John Cena is one of the WWE’s marquee stars and this week, he shared this video of part of his gym routine.

In it, he squats a pretty impressive 396lbs — that’s 180kg in real money.

(Ignore the video title which suggests that it’s 600lbs; Cena has since confirmed the weights.)

It’s by no means the heaviest one-rep max of a professional athlete but considering the stick pro wrestlers come in for, it’s pretty impressive.
