St Pat's have added a former Irish international to their ranks for next season

A nice bit of business by Liam Buckley.

ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC have signed Keith Treacy, Mark Timlin and Graham Kelly ahead of the 2016 season.

Treacy, who won six caps for the Republic of Ireland between 2010 and ’11, joins the club from Drogheda United, while Timlin arrives at Richmond Park from Derry City.

A former Blackburn Rovers and Burnley midfielder, Treacy signed for Drogheda towards the end of the 2015 season and scored two goals in eight league appearances for the club. Timlin finished the 2015 campaign as Derry’s top goalscorer, hitting the net 10 times in 28 games.

The Saints have also signed Graham Kelly from Bray Wanderers. The midfielder had grown into a mainstay at the Carlisle Grounds during the last two seasons and embarks on a new chapter in Inchicore.

Meanwhile, Galway United have confirmed that Cormac Raftery and Marc Ludden have agreed to remain at the club for another season.

“It’s very important that we have continuity at the club. We’re pleased to get both players re-signed,” said Galway boss Tommy Dunne.

Raftery and Ludden join Ryan Connolly, Conor Winn, Padraic Cunningham and Colm Horgan in committing to the club.
