Mayo win possession from the Kerry kick-out and Conroy makes an immediate impact by winning a free for a push in the back by Jason Foley.

Darragh Beirne takes it and swings it over. And just like that, there’s just three between the teams.

Kerry win the Mayo kick-out, but it ends in a bad wide by Tom O’Sullivan. It’s his second wide in-a-row, but he is coming back from injury and clearly a bit rusty.

Jack Carney provides a vital score for Mayo, and it’s the first orange flag of the day. 

Just before that, Kerry’s Paul Murphy earned a free for a challenge by O’Donoghue and O’Shea completed the move with a point.

Mayo win the ball back and try to engineer a goal chance, but a bad pass gives Kerry a reprieve, and they start to build again.

Mayo win a sideline and O’Donoghue sends a crossfield pass to Hession. It was a bit risky but they keep the ball. But the shot at the end of it all is short again.

Kerry’s Dylan Geaney looks like he will have to make way early through injury. That’s a blow for the champions after losing Diarmuid O’Connor before the game.

Kerry win the Mayo kick-out as the Clifford brothers try to combine before they get dispossessed. Kerry regain possession and Tom O’Sullivan tries to float the ball in for a possible goal chance, but it goes too far and Mayo go on the march.

Kerry: Diarmuid O’Connor, who was named at half-forward, has been ruled out through injury. Cillian Trant has been added to the match-day squad.

Mayo: Stephen Coen, who was included in the half-forward line, is out today. John McMonagle has been included in the squad.

We don’t have any information on who will start in place of O’Connor and Coen yet.
